Ohhh Micah! This post will mostly be for us....to remember the everyday things we love so much about our Micah Man so feel free to skim if you don't need/want all the details!
Micah is one little kid with one BIG imagination. I'm not sure if most 2 1/2 yr olds have such big imaginations but he sure does. He can take everyday ojects and turn them into anything. For example...we were marking garage sale clothes and he found 2 ties of Corey's. Ever since the blue tie has become his motorcycle and the red one his moped. He puts his pretend helmet and pretend safety glasses on and will ride around the house. He will often ask us (or whoever is over) to ride along with him He pretends or living room is Meijer--complete with the fish tanks (ie our fireplce) where he feeds the fish and Sandy--the meijer horse--(ie the arm of our couch) that he rides and even th conveyor belt (ie bay window) where he check out. He loves playing restuarant--he has a few consistant restaurants named Gonks, Coins, and Tikis. He'll ask us what we want and then cook it up for us. Lately he has turned his golf bag into a hot dog cart--just like the ones downtown St Joe. Like I said he has a great imagination.

Micas is currently obsessed with a plastic pretend donut. Actually he is (permanently) borrowing it from his cousin Linoln but he carries it with him at all times. I don't know how many times I hear "where is my donut". I finally stopped letting him sleep with it b/c he was waking up during the night b/c he would drop it and couldnt find it. Don't worry though we tuck donut into it bed every night and cover it with a blanket and the first thing he does when he wakes up is get his donut. He has currently been sleeping with an empty coffee creamer bottle. He also really likes this...it is cinnamon flavored and there is still a cinnamom smell left. Haha....
Micah of course still loves his car/trucks/motorcycles, etc. He also loves to pretend that he is a firefighter (and wears his firehat, rides around his fire truck and uses his hose to put out fires) and a construction worker.
Along with his huge imagination Micah also has a great memory. It amazes me what he remembers. For example we were at the park and he was playing with several news kids we didn't know. After we left he knew what color shirt each boy had on and wanted to know their name I've also already told you about how he knows his cars. For example we will be driving 70 mph on the highway and a car will drive by and he will say mom that is Jake's (a friend) car. Now I have no idea what type of car they drive but Micah is not usually wrong when it comes to cars. Since we know that this is such a great age to memorize we (well mainly corey is) working with him on memorizing Bible verses. He can probably say 10 verses! What an awesome foundation to be learning God's truth!

Micah's favorite movie is Cars, favorite hymn is In Christ Alone, favorite breakfast food is waffles, favorite food is hot dogs, favorite color is blue. If he likes something he will say "that is one of my favorites".
Micah loves playing football and tackeling daddy. He got to go to his first football game (Lakeshore) with Corey and he just loved it. He also likes to pretend that he is Gholston--a MSU player. Tonight before bed when I sang to him instead of signing our usual I had to sing night night Gholston! Micah also loves his baby sister-his Addie girl as he calls her-and boy does she love him and just light up when she sees him. He isn't always kind or gentle with her but we are working on teaching him what it means to be a big brother.
He is a sweet boy--but he is 2! Sometimes he can be the most friendly little guy and other times he won't even talk to you! Sometimes he puts his arm around me and tells me "mom you are the best" and other times I tell him to do something and he hits me (which is then followed up by a spanking).
I could go on and on about all the funny things he says and does and how much fun he is, etc but that is a good picture of our little guy at 2 1/2.
